Question by Daffy: What is the best, most effective cream for psoriasis? It has got to be over the counter.?
Ive got a flare on my right leg down at the ankle and some on my elbow. Its just so irratating! I can’t get a prescription from the doctor at this time and I want to stop using the clobetasol I got in Mexico due to the negative effects of the steroid. I really need something that will at least ease the utter itching and spreading until it leaves on its own. Any suggestions for over the counter creams, gels, powder, herbs, or custom made mixtures, please would help.

I cleared my psoriasis with serenaskin herbal remedies. I used ointment and spray on the skin and scalp, and took anti-psoriasis extract internally. This treatment cleared my skin just in a couple of weeks. 6 mo later it is still clear. You can get it online at http://www.serenaskin.com, no prescription required.

I have psoriasis, and my hydrocortisone cream isn’t working?

Question by Delta.: I have psoriasis, and my hydrocortisone cream isn’t working?
Hi there,

I have bad psoriasis on my forehead, hairline and ears, and my doctor prescribed me some hydrocortisone cream and tar shampoo.

I’ve been using the tar shampoo every other day for the past two weeks, and using the hydrocortisone cream daily for the past two weeks. I put plenty on, and I leave it on whilst I’m asleep. I wear a headband to keep my fringe up.

But it’s not working! My psoriasis is just as bad, and I’m very conscious about it. I want to cut my hair short (I’m a boy), but daren’t because people will be able to see my forehead. And all the flaky skin goes in my hair and it looks terrible!

Is there anything else I can do? Please help me!

For me natural treatment worked better than prescription medications. . I cleared my psoriasis with serenaskin herbal remedies in less than 2 weeks. They do not have side effects like steroid creams. Itching subsided after first application of ointment and spray, I felt a relief right away, and I also took psoriasis extract to prevent future flare ups. It has been several months ago and my skin is still clear.

Mother of Pearl Cream for Psoriasis?

October 22nd, 2011 Brian 1 comment

Question by `·.¸×°×Comadrejaװ׸.·´: Mother of Pearl Cream for Psoriasis?
I have psoriasis of the face, scalp and neck that didn’t start until I was 18ish. I am 22 now and it just started getting super bad! I have been trying a bunch of different things, including creams from the doctor and most stuff makes it worse. A few things I have tried make it better for a little while but it doesn’t last, even though I am still using the stuff. My fiancee who is from Honduras, swears by this stuff called Crema de Concha Nacar aka Mother of Pearl Cream… I heard that 100% pure extra virgin Coconut Oil clears up Psoriasis in days and prevents it from coming back. Saturday I went out and bought some, not realizing that he went out and bough me the Mother of Pearl cream. He was begging me and begging me to try it and I was like “fine” since I hadn’t tried the coconut oil yet. I put it on yesterday and my skin FELT better (less itchy/painful) and the redness reduced a little but the patches of dry seemed to look harder i guess u could say? And this morning I was super itchy and he told me to keep using the concha nacar because it takes a few days to start working. I read online that it is mostly for acne scars and anti-aging.. which makes me nervous cause stuff for acne and anti-aging usually irritates my skin. He said it will work in 4 days and to just trust him.. Should I wait or should I just start using the coconut oil?

I would strongly suggest against using this cream. I suffer from psoriasis and i am also mildly allergic to coconut. I have been using this stuff called Dermasolve and its made specifically for psoriasis. It had me seeing great results in about 2 week. And best of all its all natural to the risk of break out is low.

Psoriasis Cream Report

It’s not simple to find genuine aid while looking for a Psoriasis Cream. Everybody wants to sell you anything, and infrequently does what they aspire to to offer you give good results! I understand this for a fact since I’m a Psoriatic which has tried out EVERYTHING. Don’t get me wrong, a lot of things will work, but a majority usually do not. The sole constant that remains is always that everything in connection with news about Psoriasis cost a lot. I won’t bore you with the details of what works and what doesn’t for me personally, but I’ll advise a few ways to find out appropriate info.

To start with, by no means have confidence in promotions! Look for at least a customer assessment in regards to the Psoriasis cream before selecting anything at all! I’m sure this might appear to be commonsense, but just about everyone has been desperate and prepared to try anything at all before. Do not do that, you will throw away cash, and feel bad about your order later. It is best to look at a unbiased and professional recommendation first. With that, the recommendation for Psoriasis cream should originate from an individual blog website or an individual you already know! I don’t really like to mention it, but doctors and specialist website pages will often be paid to push products and solutions. Do not fall for this!

Secondly, I propose doing your research for Psoriasis cream  on the web first in the interest of finding product reviews, but it really doesn’t hurt to get in touch with any local drug store and ask for their opinion. Every drugstore needs credentialed staff available, at all time, to answer the questions you have without cost. These men and women are trained to answer questions about anything, and if they do not possess the answer they will let you know that. If they lie to you, or push the wrong product, they know you simply won’t go to that business for a second time. They always want to provide you with the very best service so that you will come back and spend money there.

Last but not least, never be reluctant to choose the long-shots. With this, I am talking about trying new things! Merely because a  cream has been around for twenty years does not imply it is the most effective. Go with your gut, and search into things that seem to be different. Not all of the most effective methods are FDA approved, because exactly like the rest, the FDA is run by people with “special interests”. Obviously, do your homework and look for an evaluation, but I’ve had fortune with a number of the oddball advice from my mates.

Cream isn’t the easiest thing to look around for. That said, should you follow these handful of simple tips, you will observe that it really does become a lot easier. Much like other things, the more experienced you become, the less difficulty you’ll have. Ask for assistance, read some weblogs, and speak with the local pharmacy! When you are in doubt, try to find more evaluations!

One final note should be to visit your neighborhood nutrition store to learn about creams. Working with Psoriasis can be the cause of depressive disorders and low self-esteem, and it would not hurtto participate in a group and become part of a network of persons concentrating on the same troubles. Whole foods stores most often have articles advertising and marketing, or perhaps help put together, this kind of groupings. All the best!

I am a nice person and terrific author.

Treating Psoriasis Effectively and Psoriasis Treatments

Psoriasis is a common chronic, relapsing, non-contagious skin disorder characterised by red patchy lesions, with grey or silvery-white, dry scales, which are frequently painful, itchy and may bleed. Lesions are typically distributed symmetrically on the scalp, elbows, knees and essentially any part of the body.

Guttate psoriasis is the next most common type of psoriasis. Widespread small, red spots on the skin are strong indications of gestate psoriasis. Tear shaped spots may be seen during a breakout of this type. These spots are usually an acute situation frequently linked to a bacterial or viral infection. It usually appears on the trunk of the body and the limbs.

This type of psoriasis by and large is most often afflicts children and young adults. Many cases of gestate psoriasis are mild and will vanish without treatment. More severe cases may imply treatment and an appointment with your doctor.

Causes or Risk Factors: – The exact cause of psoriasis is unknown; however, numerous studies have attempted to define the risk factors for developing psoriasis. The following have been named as risk factors for the development of psoriasis,

1. Family history (genetics): – This is the most well established risk factor for the development of psoriasis. Approximately 40% of patients with psoriasis have a family history amongst first-degree relatives. It has also been noted that psoriasis develops in as many as half of the siblings when both parents have psoriasis, this falls to 16% when only one parent is affected, and 8% when neither parent is affected but there is an affected sibling.

2. Infections: – Bacterial and viral infections may be linked to psoriasis; however, beyond streptococcus, the role of other infections in precipitating psoriasis has not been studied.
